A client of mine wants to send out an email that will look like all formatted with graphics and such. I've never done this for anyone. I think I have to serve up the graphics somewhere and have html in the email that calls back to those graphics. Can email handle HTML like that? Is CSS in or out? Any other limitations, things to consider?

use tables, inline css and no background images. also your headers should say that its a html formatted email.

• keep your css inline and basic
• build your email in tables... yes, tables
• use campaign monitor (http://www.campaignmonitor.com) or something similar
• enjoy spamming!- damn... yeah, no bg images either. good lookin out geralddeanPoint5

also absolute links to images are necessary also. not relative ones.

very limited css support because you have to deal with outlook 2007 and other providers that dont like current standard html. put graphics on a server and use absolute URI. everything else in tables.
