What to do...
I am currently based in a new-build business complex that is very convenient and a great place to be in many ways. I was one of the very first people in, and the place was very peaceful for a while. Then it filled up and it became apparent that each studio/office is divided by a hollow wall and the sound-proofing is virtually non-existent. Now some bloke has moved into the unit next to me and he sits there all day 'singing'. By singing, I mean 'burbling an unbroken tuneless groan like a half-dead monk OD'ing on mogadon... slowed down to 1/10th the original pitch'.
Do I...
A. Move Out. Its not the most IDEAL place for my studio anyway and a change is as good as a rest.
B. Make a polite and indirect reference, in passing, to the appalling lack of soundproofing, and hope he gets the hint.
C. Go round there with a leg off my table, smash his door down, ram his face into his keyboard and whack him in the kidneys whilst shouting "STOP MAKING THAT FUCKING TUNELESS DIRGE ALL DAY YOU MISERABLE FUCKING SLOPCATCHER"
Its such a dilemma.

Modify option "C" to incorporate the "polite" part of "B" and you have it.
RE: "Change is as good as rest." <- I like that.

Okay Blaw, something like this then...
C/B composite: Go round there with a leg off my table, smash his door down, ram his face into his keyboard and whack him in the kidneys whilst politely shouting about the appalling lack of soundproofing.
I like it. Done.

I believe we have a winner. Sorry about your table.
- S'okay, I can send him an invoice for that once his condition stabilises.********
