Alright, it might be a stupid question but it's driving me crazy! I have a 30G ipod and my wife has a 4G Nano and every single time I charge her ipod on the same comp, it loads random songs that she has not selected.
What's the best way to set up itunes so that I can charge both devices without wanting to throw my imac out the window?
Thanks!

When you plug in your ipod, go to the summary tab in itunes, and in the option section, check "Manually manage music & videos". Now the ipod will only update songs when you add or delete the songs yourself...no more automatic updating. Hope that was what you're looking for.

what sintaxera said.

Or you can set up a playlist for the ipod and manage the songs in that playlist and have the ipod automatically update from that playlist.

I have tried all that, but it keeps screwing up....

Try giving it the stink eye.

what ninja said.. specific playlist designated to each ipod, setup to auto update. i thats not working sorry but you must be missing a checkbox or doing something wrong.
