went out to get some food shopping today and got my card declined. so went to bank machine and they were all out of order so I had to go into the bank.
The bank was mobbed so had to wait for ages. Seemingly for a considerable time this afternoon the whole Chip & Pin network was down!

Just come over to the US, they don't give a shit here. Just pick up a card and spend spend spend. Even if the card is a 19yo woman's, and you're an 85yo Chinese man, nobody checks anything. They just don't give a fuck.

it's this amazing NEW invention to the English debit/credit card system where you can actually pay for stuff, and get this, by inputing your pin instead of a signature! Doesn't that just blow your mind?!
