and just spent about 160 bucks on 3 bottles of Patron Silver to celebrate over the weekend... ahhh... one last weekend of drunken debauchery after 5 and 1/2 priceless years of irresponsibility

I would avoid graduation at all costs. Go to grad school.

why?
- i was thinking about it, but i already have a job lined up starting in Jan.

dude, bad move. stay in school for a couple more years.
- seriously, i'd like to know, i mean i was close to going to grad school right away, but decided i want to save for it a bit********

- everything goes down hill? i am going from broke to financially secure for once in my life.studderine
- Everything is life is really about money
kewHexton - Fuck school. I've never been happier than when I got out of that piece of shit. Hours blow on stupid tasks that are beneath your abilities. Screw that!ornj
- your abilities, screw that.ornj

can you tell me why?

just out of curiousity..... that's all

I went straight to working. Grad school just means more debt for something you could learn better on the job.

Llyod, c'mon the suspense is killing me.... i'd really like you to explain, I'm not saying I don't agree with you, but i'd like to hear your thoughts/experiences as to why you're so against going straight to working.

hey buddy i graduate next thursday from arizona state! then i move ti chi-town for a job. i was contemplating getting a job at asu, then getting my masters while i worked. overall, the job i took will grant me so many opportunities i would be crazy to think grad school would benefit me as of now.
- plus moving to chicago is just something i had to do.studderine

i waited a couple years, now i'm headed back to grad school, because i figured out i'd much rather be involved in photojournalism than design. so you can always head back, mess around for a couple years in the meantime.

i honestly can't wait to work on client projects again, school projects can be incredibly dumb, sometimes they're cool....
- i hear ya on that... i can't wait to get the fuck out of school and work. seriously...coco_ono
- school projects are better. you have less control over what you want things to look like with a client involved.********
- sure, however most school projects at least at my school are pretty bogus********

i dont think you need to worry. go get that job, get some experience and work in the real world for a couple years. THEN you can go to grad school if you really want to. Plus you'll have that extra experience to work to your advantage. but congratulations!
