Tuba?

Does anyone here know anything about tubas?
Basically I want one. I play the trumpet. From what I understand if a tuba is dented it still plays perfectly fine.
If you have any idea, check it out and tell me if it is worth 100 buckaroos:

Only thing I would be worried about is the valves can still be moved and the keys can still be pressed.
and yeah, dents don't matter really unless the whole thing is smashed!

Yup should be fine. I played a tuba and a euphonium at one point. Just buy plenty of valve oil and clean all the parts if you get it.

I hope I can afford a saxophone someday...
Tubas must be really expensive. Maybe not so much if it's dented, but still....since it's playable I'm guessing it's a lot of money.

Stuffed into a plain brown wrapper, the tenor seemed to be walking me home. Shuffling through the front door of the apartment, I knew they were there. Trixie and JoJo. Two dames about as dirty as they come. They were ready. They had eaten Mexican...pork chops. Trixie breathed in a gale of smoke, "Bring that horn over to us. 1 sax is no match for 2 broads."
Good lord, but they were right.

Looks o.k. No mouthpiece, which is o.k. but with no case (might be a small problem, with carrying it around). I'd be concerned about the keys sticking too.

I moved to Mexico from San Francisco a few months ago to get out of the grind, its great, the wife took over her fathers sea food joint and I do a bit of freelance on the side, no more insane ad agency politics/ridiculous dead lines, its great. but damn the Tuba's here are driving me crazy! tubas and trumpets all night long!
