ok, this is convoluted, but it might work...
Select the mesh, and dupe it (copy, paste in front, new layer would be best).
Go to meno Object > Path > Offset Path with a value of zero. Voila! path object of the mesh.
You'll need to select each quadrant of the mesh separately. in other words, select all four points of a quadrant, offset, rinse, repeat. Tedious, but it'll work

Don't think so. Obviously, you can use screenshots and some fiddling in Photoshop to achieve the same effect though.

Anybody know if a Gradient Mesh object can be converted so that the mesh is visible in regular mode instead of just outline mode.
That way you could keep the wireframe mesh look as artwork?
I don't think it can be done....but anybody??
