AfterEffects Mask Problem

  I have a mask on an image. I want to be able to animation the position of the image, and keep the mask in the same spot. But whenever I move the image, the mask always moves with it. This is very easy to do in Flash, but it's not working in AE. Please Help!!!!

  do your animation first. Then nest that comp (with the animation) into a new comp. Draw your mask over the nested comp. Done!
