anyone experienced in drupal?
I have a little consultancy work to pass on to anyone that is well versed in drupal.
I'd rather give the $$$ to someone from here than somehoooor from another site :)

here is a work in progress:

I have a friend that is an expert on the dev side. Is this design or development oriented?
- emecks0
thanks styleplus and tonx!
You both have mail.
It is more on the dev side than design and there could well be a lot to do, enough to go round for 2 in any case.

hey guys, I forgot to mention - there's a couple of beers for each of you just for answering the questions in the email already :)

this one is for all you "expert" drupal developers. I have been working with this site for the past couple of months, which has been working fine. Now today all of a sudden it stopped working and I am getting this error.
"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare shorten_nightlife() (previously declared in /home/thesunse/public_html/sites... : eval()'d code:1) in /home/thesunse/public_html/sites... : eval()'d code on line 5"
Now I have spent a few hours on this, it's not a problem with the database, files haven't been updated, and I am sure of all this. Where the fuck do I even look? I need advice cause I am losing patience with drupal.

so it's the "worst piece of shit I have ever used" just because you get an error that you can't get to the bottom of. surely thats YOUR fault then and not the platform :P
one of our clients has used it to build and maintain their own site, they got in a guy who knew the basics of it but has been working with it day and night for the past few months and has got pretty good at it. it seems to be able to do anything you want it to do and there are lots of plugin apps you can get to slot-in.
not sure how "amazing" it is, but it certainly seems to be doing the job for them and on the backend side, the people that keep the site updated seem to be doing so trouble-free even though they have no technical skills.
- kon, this guy your client got in... any clue if he has any free capacity??emecks

Assistant changes one thing from their admin panel. In my opinion you are wasting time on something that doesn't need to be thing complicated. Not sure if you have yourself coded or used cms's before, but I have been doing this for a while. The support is horrendous for drupal. I am not the only human being dissing on drupal.
