Hello hello!
I've just finished a quick restructure of my site featuring the lastest stuff done with Papervision3D 2.0:
I've focused mainly experiments, and leaving the old site on http://mrdoob.com/blog.php
Any kind of feedback would be appreciated (not sure how tho ;)
Cheers!

great stuff..
depth of field tests are pretty ace :)
- oldelpaso0
cant wait till you guys develop papervision to be a bit less jagged.
- oldelpaso0
the nav is a nightmare to work with...
- detritus0
I dig the jaggies - makes an old-timer like myself feel quite comfortable.
Nice job, mrdoob - even if it does give me a knot in my stomach when I realise how out of touch I am with current web tech. You've inspired me to dig around this Papervision thing though - thanks!

oldelpaso: Is it a nightmare? :( are the items to thin?
detritus: you're welcome!! ;)
- mrdoob0
Maybe I can show the screenshots, so the crop goes to the screenshot. I'll lose a lot of space in that way tho. But I think you're right. I'll need to sort of the items going of the screen later on.

nice clock... but that is all it loads when i click on the other items... safari /mac
- mrdoob0
Yeah, seems like swfaddress doesn't work with safari/mac :( Try with firefox if you have it installed. Uh.. but if you can see the clock means that more or less works. Ah... safari/mac always being the only one giving me problems :(

Pretty nice work Mr Doob. Maybe you could colour-code the nav stripes so you can find your way to content a bit easier.

"thanks for crashing my browser...."
- mrdoob0
neave:
You're everywhere!! ;) Thanks man! Well, at the moment they do have color codes:pink > experiments
blue > projects
green > toolsand maybe soon...
yellow > games
But I guess there are too many experiments... And maybe would be better to mix all the similar experiments in one or something like that. Although I still think that showing the snapshots could work.

By the way, if it crashes on Safari/Mac, maybe you guys should consider why is that the only browser that is crashing and is it really my fault :P
- mrdoob0
(So doing thank me for that, give the thanks to Apple :P)
- madirish0
1. it appears to be the only one.
2. it is 100% your fault it is crashing, as clearly there is a file being delivered by the URL request that is crashing it.
3. a crashed browser (that is current and legitamite user audience tool) is THE number one flag of a horrible user experience. period.
- mrdoob0
Well, based on that way of thinking, it's 100% your fault for clicking on he link, as clearly the page won't have load if you didn't click on it.
- dude, just stop now. seriously.madirish
- Don't know if you get my point, but it's not my problem if the browser you're using doesn't behave as all the others do with very simple tasks, and because that you are saying my code is defective. And for the fact that now you say "seriously" you're implying that you were serious. Which after making my point clear, if you don't agree the case is closed.mrdoob

And then is 100% my fault for asking you to click on it to see what you think. And then it's 100% your foult for being registered in this site. And then it's 100% qbn's fault.
Anyway, thanks mate, you did my day :)

wait til dobs logs in...

honestly, i do not know you from a lamp pole, so what in the hell are you going on about?
- your site crashes a users browser that is valid; that is piss-poor web design and development. No question, not negotiable, do not pass go, do not fucking question it again.
- why in the FUCK then did you ask for "Any kind of feedback would be appreciated"?
drivel like this is not prodcutive in a thread where you are looking for help, so stop making me assist you in sticking to YOUR point. ferfucksake....
