So I might be out of my mind thinking I can get a room in the city for $150, but is it possible?
I'm coming to the city for a night next Thursday and rather than shleping back to my sisters place in Queens, if I can find a hotel for $150 I'd rather do that.
Anyone know of any or is it just wishful thinking?

dude, I've been asking the same crap for two days also...

Yeah, I'm assuming the answer is gonna be no. I've been checking for hotels all night and I can't find any decent hotel in the NYC area for under $500. Crazy. Lemme know if you find anything and I'll do the same.

What's the matter with your sister?
You can take the subway to your sister's place for $2. Just do that.
Any place in Manhattan that's less than $200 is going to make you wish you went to your sister's anyway. So stop messing around.
Now, if you want to spend $600, and stay in a nice room, with some tasty bit you just met, well, maybe you should think about The Hudson, or another nice place.
Oh, fuckit. You're cheap. Stay with your sister.

She's far out on the other end of Queens. I'm hanging out with a few friends so for $50 per person per night, it'd be great to grab a room somewhere.
I'll probably just stay with her, although this Pod Hotel could be cool. I have to get back into the city first thing Friday morning and I'll probably be drinking in the city late night on Thurs. so a hotel would just be so much easier.

Yo! Meet a city chick, and spend the night there.
Get some booty, and save some money, and make your appt. too.
Turn on the charm, and stop thinking about your wee wee wallet!
Man up!

I stayed at this hotel a couple of times. It's not much, but it's affordable and they are quite friendly. http://www.larchmonthotel.com/
