I've got my server with easyspace... had it on there for years just holding personal files etc... anyway... i've asked for them on a couple of occasions to give me the sub domains...
and
...and they've never happened...
So... this morning I send a message to support about it, and apparently when I upped my package, the server was never swapped... AND... they have now initiated the new server which will take 12 to 24 hours... but they won't copy the files across...
I asked if I could upload to the new server so it is ready so when the switch happens, there is no delay... but can't do it as the new server isn't even set up yet.
So I've gone from just making an enquiry, to having my site potentially down all day, and having to spend all day downloading and reuploading etc... how shite is that!

Let them know you're unhappy, and why - then change to a different host. I've never been with them personally, but an old agency I worked for used them, about 6 years ago - they were expensive, slow and charged an obscene amount for their services. I could never understand why.
