Heard an interesting fact / rumour today... that phone companies actually have joke writers and send out SMS jokes to people so they'll pass on... how clever is that!

Yeah. Fourteen billion text messages in my neck of the woods last year. I'm sure they do that to get an extra 2-300 messages sent.

I have a friend who likes to send me them... also those old nokia ones that were pictures made of characters... but didn't have the heart to say please stop... a bit like when people decide to have a water fight or give me a hug on facebook...
I'm all for keeping in touch... but lets not be foolish... about time that facebook had some actual useful utils

Yeah, I remember those old ones character based ones that only worked on Nokia's... nothing been around for years though. Plus they were a bit rubbish.
I'd heard that phone companies send them out themselves too... sneaky fuckers, obvious though when you think about it...
