so, i grabbed a cheese and marmite panini from starbucks on my way in this morning, you know, to cure the blistering hangover, and as i was approaching my building, these two old guys were walking towards me and one of them gestured towards my little starbucks sack and said, 'i'll bet you've got some cheese in there, haven't you, love?'
i can't figure out if he was being rude or not.

haha, I don't even know why that's funny... or if it's rude, but it made me laugh.
maybe he was just a sandwich clairvoyant
- Unless of course, every Starbucks sarnie or panini has cheese in it?!Raniator
- ohhh, a sandwich conspiracy. Maybe they were the feds from the X-files baked goods deptWolfboy
- he couldn't see if it was a panini or a muffin! and only one panini has cheese! maybe i looked THAT hungover...paraselene

Weird. What did these 'two old guys' look like?
- paraselene0
just a couple of older guys in flat caps and leather jackets, looked like maybe they ought to be at the walthamstow dogs, but instead decided to come to soho and freak out hungover people.
i wanted to be all, "uh-uh, it's a scone", but the guy was right damn him.

Flat caps, and leather jackets? I thought flat cappers only wore tweed? Or is this some new "tough" breed of pensioner?
