Apparently we are just past the middle of the Canadian Winter. The day's are getting longer. We have an extra minute of sunlight compared to yesterday. Sunset 5:10, today.

Both our parents are calling every day, asking if we've had that baby already. It's making me mental. As if we'd hide it from them.

You should be able to tell if the small pot is hampering the plant by the extent of any new growth it makes in the spring after its first watering and feeding. If bright green new growth appears at top centre of the plant- the growing point - then it's still o.k. Possibly under optimum conditions an experienced grower could double the size of the plant within the next five years. You need to decide if that's what you want, or whether you're happy to poodle along at a slower pace. As the plant will adapt to the prevailing conditions more or less.

I woke up this morning at 5 am and proceeded to get ready for work. I looked at my watch after my shower and noticed that it was now 5:10am. WTF? Why am I awake at this time? I usually get up at 6 am; I started to trip out and question what time I usually wake up at, was it 5, or was it 6? I went through my morning routine in my head and confirmed that it was indeed 6 am that I normally wake up. So then I went back to sleep for 50 minutes and woke up at my usual 6am time slot. I tried to pretend this mental dysfunction never happened.
