Tanner on Tanner

Back in the late 80's, Robert Altman directed a (short lived) television series along with Garry Trudeau called 'Tanner '88' (playing now on the Sundance Channel). It followed a Democratic candidate running for office. It was/is brilliant.

'Tanner on Tanner' is equally engaging. Lots of issues are brought up that are very relevant to the politics going on today in the U.S., along with a critique on current documentary filmmaking (which is actually more the goal of the series, rather than politics, according to Altman).
