artist statement: NOW & NEVER
I once heard a story about a shaman, who went to the forest to die and to return to life enlightened. The forest is where he would find his power, strength and wisdom. The studio is my forest, my temple, my church - it's where I create and recreate. I've gone beyond Lex Luther and the Man of Steel, and entered a new stage in my life, with new vision and a wider spectrum, no longer limiting myself to proven formulas and hipster
references. Now I am battling with contrasts and the unexpected: bullets & brushstrokes, abstract & structure, spartans & nomads, life & death, anarchy & peace, black & white, lovers & haters, reality & myths, coffee & cigarettes, science & fiction,
NOW & NEVER.
