Steamboy is the next feature film by Katsuhiro Otomo. This movie originally dated for release in October 2003 have diferent delays and will be relased in July of 2004 in Japan.

Steamboy is the most expensive anime film ever made with 2.4 billion yens, 180,000 drawings, 400 CG scenes and 9 long years of production, bring us a history of Rei is a young inventor from UK in the middle of the 19th century before the first ever World Expo. They receives a packet from his grandfather Roid from the US. The packet contains a revolutionary machine that works with a new form of energy. At same time a dark foundation "Ohara" try steal it for his own uses.
