This has proven to be a very difficult day for me. I was unsure if I should post this here, but felt obligated to some degree since all of you were so very supportive to me when my best friend Ruby my sweetheart Rottweiler required surgery for a torn ligament. Firstly let me take this moment to say thank you again to all of your best wishes, regards and financial support you were so generous to give me during that time.

Here is an update. Ruby is 8 years old. She began to limp again as of 5 months ago as it progressively got worse. Today, Melody (my wife) and I brought her in to the Animal Hospital. Unfortunately Ruby, most likely, has bone cancer. Should we find this out for sure tomorrow, we will have to put her to sleep. This is very difficult for me since she has become such a big part of my life and me.

If not for any other reason let this post be a reminder that life is short, don’t spend it planning.
