there is a table cel there beneath the nav and above the content/sidebar...could that be the problem? Kill the cel and adjust the spacing accordingly? Just guessing, not really looking at the code as I'm running out the door to get some pizza...

dude ~ just play around and try different things.
this doesnt need to be in the table colspan="8" because the table closes before the main table.
