Anyone know of any similar companies to Alife? Target have stopped stocking their products and I want to find some other nicely designed ones since they don't have any other US stockists.
Thanks.

I love using Moleskines, they carry them in bookstores, art stores, etc. They have them in different styles and sizes.

yes, i love my moleskin as well.
BUT... be not mislead by their infamous marketing stories... it is true that famous artists in the past have used these notebooks in the past, but only similar ones to the one that is made by Moleskine. So the brand just creates and sells replica's of those famous ones. The originals were never made or sold by this brand.

who the hell would think that using notebooks used by famous people will make them more creative? sort of like using a mac.

I have a couple moleskin notebooks, if anything because they just seem durable and I like the size.
Also, as I mentioned in the muji thread, I bought several packs of these notebooks at a muji store when I was in Japan last summer.

I love them because they are thin and don't take up too much weight in my bag They have great daily calendar books as well that are the same size.
I sort of in some way feel like I collect notebooks/sketchbooks and journals.
