I need lightweight headphones. Right now I like the Sony lightweight MDR-710LP headphones any other good brands for headphones? they need to be Over-the-head, Lightweight in design kinda like the Sony ones below.

Checkout audiocubes.com, I have bought stuff from them before they are a really good shop for cans.
I have these Audio Technica headphones. They have great range (15-28,000 Hz )
http://www.audiocubes.com/catego…I also have Sennheiser HD 200-V1
http://www.sennheiser.com/sennhe…and Sennheiser HD 270-V1
http://www.sennheiser.com/sennhe…To be honest the Audio Technica cans are as good as the Sennheisers that I own and they cost about a quarter of teh price of the 270s.
Hope that helps, thats just my experience.

I've had these Sennheiser PX200's for about 4 or 5 years now, I love them. They fold down really well for transport, sound great and they're extremely comfortable.
I bought a couple other brands, trying to find a second pair for the office and I ended up just using the PX200's at both places.

slappy thanks for the suggestions but those you selected don't look like lightweight headphones abit to DJ / heavy looking but the site had other headphones that were kinda nice, you know any other headphone websites?

tommyo those are similar to the sony ones but im not liking the top padding but thanks for the suggestion.

No problem man. Just an FYI, those Sonys sounded like crap to me. That was one of the pairs I tried and it was horribly muddy sounding.

I'll keep looking, I want something lightweight like the sony design i linked, I don't want them to look like DJ headphones as in heavy big looking or have a very long cord these headphones will be for portable use.

The Koss Portapro is what I rock:
http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb…Best ever!

Damn... I hope those Koss (?) cans sound good, 'cause they are mighty ugly!

Not that they need to look that great or anything, sound is paramount obviously... but hey, we are designers so it probably matters to us?

Yes, the sound is brilliant.
That said, designwise I would take my Koss PortaPro's over most of the headphones on the market today, which makes my head to look like part of an alien aircraft.

Ferengi sex toys, to be precise?
From Star Trek Wiki:
The Ferengi were physically distinct by their large ear lobes (larger and more pronounced on males than females), which gave the Ferengi keen hearing. The lower ear lobes were also erogenous zones for the Ferengi.
