I have never needed lasses, I've always been tol I have 'perfect' eye sight. So why is it then that I have to hold things further and further away to focus, to the point the text gets so small I can't read it! I tried my folks' reading glasses and it's like a miracle. Does anyone know anywhere to get some decent ones, off the shelf? Boots are OK but I wouldn't mind some frames I like!

Glasses are not for reading, really. There's nothing to read on them actually. It says Guinness, Murphys, Beamish on them.. the small print on the side says "1 pint". Just drink it down and you'll be fine.
