Anyone know of any other artists with an eye for the visceral?
Strikes comparisons with Ron Mueck et al's horrifically real pieces. Gwarjos.

David Lynch frequently uses meat and other leaving things in his paintings. He did one with a steak, honey, and then tons of live ants. :)
On a side note: "Pink & Brown" - put the word 'eye' at the end of both and you might have an even better exhibition concept.

David Lynch's piece with ants and meat looks nothing like these pieces, imo. I rather dislike his style anyways...for some reason I'm reminded of Francis Bacon and his slabs of meat.

Mm, I've got someone like George Stubbs in mind, for some reason - harsh, detached anatomical realism.
Digging around Google though, I think I'm talking crap - was it not Stubbs who painted skinned horses?
The thing with Victoria Reynold's stuff is that it flirts with pornography, floral still life and abstraction all at the same time.
Makes me want to run naked in the streets and bite something.
