10000rpm drives + are server-only.

(Oct 11 07, 12:51)i have a raptor in an external firewire case and it's the nicest upgrade i've made to a computer in quite a while. fast as hell.
i recently replaced my MBP internal drive with Samsung's 200gb 7000rpm drive. it's no louder or hotter than the seagate/apple drive that was in there before. it IS however noticeably faster than the original drive. it's kind of a bitch to replace, so just put extra attention to where you keep the screws when you're doing it.
