Let me guess TheBlueOne - these guys are in it to win it, right?
I bet they are 100% still thinking with that mentality of "when we hit it big," or "when we get a record deal."
Am I right?

(Oct 10 07, 07:54)So it'd be like drinking at Cheers, except instead of yelling "Norm!" they yell "Yngwie!"

(Oct 10 07, 08:29)Yeah and if you notice it's the same five places within a ten mile geographic radius. Twice.

who knows TheBlueOne Maybe they make a crazy comeback... Get signed by a major record deal and become huge and you will regret it for the rest of your life... i can see the talent.
ACTUALLY what you SHOULD do is advice them to put their record on the net and tell people to download paying whatever the feel like paying

just because the spandex doesn't fit anymore doesn't mean you need to bash all those still 'keeping it real', blueOne...
;)

i've never really understood the allure of a cover band.
"i can play, but can't write for shit! $5.00 cover."
- Jaline0
It depends. Most of them are strange, but sometimes they are useful when you want the actual band to play but you know they will never come to your house ;)

Oh, I'm not ripping on the band so hard really. I mean the singer was a good friend of mine back in the day...it was more the entire scene/vibe..it was like, you know I kind of got past the point were Skid Row songs were emotionally relevant for me. Not so much for the rest of the crowd, you know what I'm saying...
I did find it funny that all the girls from back then who were stuck cunts who did nothing but complain about men and wouldn't give you the time of day were now 40-ish hags in the same outfits chain smoking Pall Malls talking about what dicks men were. I woulda pointed it out to them but the irony woulda gotten lost in translation methinks.

their pix are priceless.

i guess, jaline... if it's a cool interpretation. basically reworking the song or something.
but i was at a music festival last month and there's a rock-a-billy band playing all these covers and i was like, who books a cover band for a festival?
- TheBlueOne0
their pix are priceless.

(Oct 10 07, 08:45)I missed them...where are they?
- Jaline0
that's weird, for sure.

Cover bands always remind me of my favorite Simpsons moment when Homer and Flanders are in Vegas. There's a marquee outside a casino that says "Tonight: Knights in White Satin; A Tribute to the Moody Blues
Opening Act:
The Moody Blues
