You're right to a 'degree', but I'm very isolated as a creative and have been for the past 3 yrs.
I think a creative environment and being around like minded individuals will help me grow as a designer...

Concrete... I've been offered 4 jobs this past summer... all nice studio-gigs etc...
... not once did any of these studios even ask me about my education...
... I mentioned where I went to school only once... and that was when the fella interviewing me actually mentioned HIS school first (which happened to be the same one I went to)...
... but still... he was not asking me where I went / what my GPA was... what my Degree was in etc...
... so I'm going to go out on a limb and say "it's all about your portfolio and experience"... :)
