hmm... that article says you can pay as little as 45p for the album...
I put 0 as it meant I wouldn't have to put in my credit card details just as a test and it worked!

I heard some radio ads today boasting that they would play new Radiohead tomorrow. It made me chuckle. They can no longer count on having new albums 3 months in advance of the general public.

the record industry is not dying it's just going to change a lot and that's what really is interesting about it...i read an article about the 20/80 rule, 20% of products produce 80% of revenue, but the internet is changing that. like amazon makes 80% of revenue from say 50% of it's products, and that's nothing but good news for independant business

Isn't the album in 160k? I'm still holding on for sound files that are CD quality before I buy / get excited. >:(

yeah, but these are of the same quality if not a bit better than what you would get on itunes. i love this move and i love the new album.
