super 8 feel on digi

yeh, cinelook is great for that 8mm look, but you'll really learn more and get exactly what you need with grains, levels and color manipulation. Do some scripting for frame displacement and alpha, and you're all set

i've been trying to mimic video a lot these days...desaturate and boost the blues and greens, 8 mm you might boost red or something. try layer the same video over top but offset it a few miliseconds to get a ghosting effect etc

i got film magic pro lots of presets that look great i'm sure magic bullet will do the trick extremely well...just don't over do it and try a few combinations of fx to make it look authentic

anybody have any tips or tutes on achieving a super 8 grain / saturation / feel on digital video. i'm not a video guy, so anything will help. i have FCP and AE....
