I actually live in the countryside (house on the mountains) so having a car is an essential tool to get to work.
Public transport (only down in the village) does not cope with my schedule. Otherwise I'd be most happy to join in.
So when I crash my car I'm not only a poor driver: I'm also barefoot.
I guess that's a major drop-back, but when I get home I'm up in the woods and it's so so quiet.... :)
I have lived in a city for 20 years but here... I can sleep.

I lay my head on the pillow, and everything below seems distant and not that very important. I worry every time I wake up and scurry down to work, but after work is finished I go up the mountain again... and I lay my head on the pillow, and everything...
...is perfect if I don't crash my car in the bends.

Also, I'm moving to another house. This one is around 600 mts above sea-level so some snow is expected in my doorstep starting November-up-to-March.
This doesn't make much sense for you yanks and canadians, but it surely makes a lot of sense to me, in this petty corner of the world.
