hey just curious to know what people are using for image capture/ offloading cameras in OSX?
i used to just allow iPhoto to launch and download off my point and shoot.. but have upgraded to a DSLR now and would like to better manage incoming photos.
thinking about just using OSX Image Capture, managing my own folders and then adding to iPhoto if needed? anyone got a good system? or does anyone use the canon software package?

I just copy the files straight off the USB card reader, then import into whatever.... mostly iView Media Pro.

You can also use preview to grab a single image, since iPhoto just does them all.

yeah OSX Image Capture is pretty good for grabbing specific images.. but still i think i'm looking for the full package to replace iPhoto.. offload and organize... Lightroom sounds good.
iPhoto i'll still use on the family iMac w/ point & shoot camera.. great for the snapshot photo albums.
