I've got a directory with say... 250 companies listed.
Each one is in a unique style, with a mixture of fonts, sizes and colours containing a name, address, phone number etc.
Some of the lines have a mixture of fonts.
Is it possible to set up InDesign so I can just 'ping' the format across the whole lot in one go?
I know about character styles and paragraph styles, but I don't know if they allow me to do this?

Hey there, Ive done something like this recently. Its not instantaneous but it is better than doing it all one at a time, check this article out for tips on setting up nested styles.

Cool, I've just printed it out... I'll read through it.
Thanks.

Now worries. Takes a bit of setting up but well worth it in the long run.
Good luck chief!

Well, it's a learning experience if nothing else!
