I DJ in bars and clubs and I'm on the verge of buying either:
SENNHEISER HD 25 MKII or
SENNHEISER HD 25 C MKII
Only difference seems to be the cable – 25 MKII's have a 2 metre steel cable and the 25 C MKII's have a 3 metre coiled cable...
Anyone used them?
Are they the bollocks or what?!

The HD 25 C MKII are probably one of the best out there for djs, definitly a favorite, I was told a zillion times to go with sennheiser by djs. i'd go with coiled cable, i thought it'd get all tangled up real quick but it won't.
I got these and they are awesome. cheapish but real solid phones.

Cool, thanks for that.
I wondered about the cable... is the coiled cable 3m long when it's stretched out? Therefore shorter than the steel cable if you see what I mean...
I'll check out those you've recommended too... the HD 25 MKII's are pretty expensive, if I can spend less on something as good I will :)

what i got are a bit bulkier and arn't as light and form fitting as the hd25 mk11, proably why djs stick with the hd25s, mine are great for the studio though. i don't know how they measure the coil, i'd assume it's 3m stretched out but that's streching it, 2m would be comfortable then you'd get that extra bit of room...to get to the beer bucket.
