i know that this has been asked here before. i guess most threads are already archieved...
searching for a free easy-to-update image gallery, image description is also a plus. it has to be really easy and basic and with really minimal design - thats why photoshop image galleries are no good...

thats very nice looking.
but i forgot to mention that thumbnail page would also be good, because there's going to be a lot of photos
- elms0
that is an option, but, for example, is it possible to add pictures later, one by one? or do i have to make a whole new gallery again?
- designerror0
think you just add as you like.
the only con to the flash image browsers is the slowness once you get a decent amount of photos in them.

hmm, in the start i guess there will be up to 100 pics, but it will grow.

on the simple viewer btw.
the slideshow pro is great for 100's of photos

that 25 dollars isn't too much though
but i don't have flash..

simple viewer pro is great, everything runs from XML file.
Also try Slimbox w/ Mootools very easy to use esp good if you got lots of thumbnails to display on one page.

simpleviewer has a couple of contributions(add-ons) that give you admin tools to manage multiple galleries - check out the links at air tight
- elms0
ok, will check them
thanks, maximillion_ and jysta

slideshowpro also has a standalone app that requires no flash I think. I used it on my site quite a bit.

is sweet. you can customise it so much, its built IN flash but you dont need flash to tweak it. just change the setup on that page (linked)

i recently discovered this, beats slideshowpro, imho

that monoslideshow is really good.
Anyone got any live examples? (Want to show a client)

simpleviewer pro is the best IMO--can be made to function and look EXACTLY as you want it--also images load in the background as you look
- Rand0
as ana side, in monoslideshow, if you're loading flash files in the gallery, buttons are disabled in the loaded file

Ah I hate the ken burns effect!
How did the guy manage to get annoying moving scaling effects named after him anyhow?
Made me feel queezy on my apple tv so I turned it off.
