Hi all,
Made a few ammendments to my website after the first version was launched. Again, it's very simple but think it works. Any comments appreciated, thanks!

Yeah I liked your work before. What's changed with the site? Is it the next button? Whatever. Site's nice and the work's nice.

Very nice. Work is very nice too.
Ps. Good use of an iWeb 'plain' page template... ;)

Haha! Busted!
Well used, iWeb's a good bit of kit.
Also, the changes made were the previous and next button, links page, about me and the removal of some of the weaker logo's.
Thanks for the response!

Still don't like the splash page..but otherwise...clean, simple, nice..

really well done but i still don't understand why you need, or implement the splash page.
it's a wasted click.
otherwise really nice.

Cool - thanks for the feedback guys. Still like the splash page - probably because i felt that the site needed a front page. Perhaps that's my editorial background coming through!
- madirish0
probably.
it is also a very large barrier to search engines and the content is worthlessly burried deeper than it should be.

poor Fouty.
kill the splash. consider omitting the first 5 projects? don't mean to sound harsh, but your later work is better and the mag spreads are pretty run of the mill. The site features your work well, though. Dig the music packaging.

i thought i entered the site by clicking your provided link. alas, i was wrong.

Later work is older and I think my editorial is a lot stronger personally - if you were from an editorial background then you'd probably see that. Each to their own I guess! :-)
- madirish0
you keep saying: "from an editorial background then you'd probably see that."
i think you mean/should say: "from a print editorial background..." as many people here are from online editorial backgrounds. while they may seem short to you, their comments are decisively accurate.
and you do have nice print work there.
- Typehead0
Print Editorial Background it is then. Should have mentioned that as they differ drastically - although it's quite obvious that i'm print-based from my examples. It's impossible to appeal to all designers of course - i fully appreciate that.
