I'm getting rid of my PowerBook (found someone to buy it, I hope...)
What's the best way to go about deauthorizing and cleaning out my Mac without reinstalling the OS?
I've already backed up the stuff I want to save...

there's a de-authorize option in one of the itunes menus.

a big giant magnet should erase it all...but stand back as it may make you sterile.

Just send it to me.
I'll note all your embarassing personal financial information, your taste in pornography, the awful things you've posted to online forums, your indictable terrorist behavior, and all data that could lay you open to blackmail. Then, I'll initialize your hard drive, re-install the software, and pass it on, like a twinkly virgin, to the new owner.
Your secrets are "safe" with me!!
