I'm currently on 30 day review, ending 9/8. I will probably be fired that day.

Never been fired...
But I might get fired soon. People at the office are a bit tired of my 'perfectionism' and insolence.

I was a runner for a company called Postnet. I had dropped out of college for a semester and decided to go pick up classes in the next semester. The month before classes started in the new semester I went into my boss's office to tell him I would need probably need to quit because I was going to be picking up 9 credits at the community college and wouldn't be able to work a full time position. He told me "Greg, don't worry. Let me know your schedule and we'll find a way to work around. You do a good job around here."
So, 2 months later, after coming into work early several days a week and working late other days in order to make up for the hours my boss pulled me into his office and told me that he was going to have to let me go because they needed someone that could be there during the specified 9-6 work hours every day.

Got fired from H-E-B (grocery store in Texas) as a checker for discounting to friends. One of my buddies did his Christmas shopping there. He brought up hundreds of dollars of stuff to my register and I only charged him a few dollars. About 8 other people got fired at the same time for doing the same thing. It was a big bust.
