I was walking through town today after buying Joanne’s birthday presents. A guy in a motorised wheelchair said, ‘excuse me’, as I walked past him, below is the dialogue that followed.
Yes? Have you got five minutes? Erm yeah. Can you help me? Sure. I desperatly need the toilet. Oh right, do you want me to help you get somewhere? Marks and Spencers, can you help? Yeah, no problem, you want me to take you over? Can you help me on? On what? The toilet. Erm, I can’t do that, but I can find an assistant with you and ask if they’ll help. Oh no, it doesn’t matter.
He wheeled off.
Feeling a little guilty and a lot like what-the-hell-just-happened I walked off.

Rule 16.123.4B of the Human Code™ states:
"Man shall not help another man clear his bowels unless the two have an established friendship - and it helps if the recipient is owed a major favor from said friend."
As far as I'm concerned, you did the right thing.

thanks. Could have been genuine, could have been a sick perv freak, who knows.

I'd gladly give a helping hand to someone in need, but if some random physically challenged person asked me to clean his genitals - fuck the hell off!
- Atkinson0
I don't really think the fact he was physically challenged made any difference. It was the notion of me putting him on the toilet that was challenging!

I gave a ride to a stranger in a wheelchair once and he shat his pants. I had to drive home with the windows down. You probably made the right choice.

I agree, it's an easier answer if it's someone you know. I must say, if I was the one in the chair, it would take all I had to ask someone for help--but again, how do you know it was genuine?
- Jaline0
He definitely should've asked someone he knew. There are other things that could've resulted in him asking you though. Maybe he doesn't have anyone to help him out...or who knows. Hopefully it wasn't life threatening.
But, anyway, you did what most people would've done (I'm guessing).

haha jesus, hope it wasnt life threatening. The guilt scale has just risen, cheers!
No, seriously, why did he not have a bag fitted / carer / ask a shop assistant / family / so many other options. I think if you've gone a good few years having to get help to use the toilet you'd have a system of somekind in place rather than just ask the first guy that passes. Anyway, on wuth the day!

From what I understand, if you're in the same stall as another bloke, you can get picked up for all kinds of sex crimes.
