Caught this on 09/09/2007 about 6:35 AM. What a rush to watch a sunrise. It was blistering cold and here is my pathetic ass with a tripod, camera and headphones waiting for that moment. That moment finally arrived. When the sun finally broke over the hill side it was epic. Here I was at about 6,000 ft with the sun on my face and the music queued perfect.
I was on top of the world. ;)

That damn mountain is in the way of the apartment building and the sky.

you asked, you shall receive. ;)
I have not processed any of these shots thus far. I just found the track that was queued ever so perfectly. Adam K. & Soho "Twilight" - Original Mix. I enclosed an audio sample. Sends chills down my spine. I love how life can sequence such beautiful things.

I've lived in Oregon for 10 years and Im always amazed to see that mountain. Whether it's on my drive home for work or in the parking lot of Timberline or Meadows. It never gets old.

Seems like there's less and less snow every year on Mt. Hood, and this was a mild summer.
Last year was sparse too. Previous year was a bit better.

That mountain isn't all that hood...
Haha the pictures are nice though.

I drove vancouver -> seattle -> portland last week.Mt St Helens isn't too far away from Portland, but I have yet to go there. Supposed to be lots of great caves to explore.
