Hey, I love it when you ask a client to send you their logo an .ai or .eps format, and sure enough, they send you an eps, but with a lo-res jpg placed in it...ahhhhhh, fun stuff.

I hardly think that qualifies as the first bleeding design-related question this week.
Take offence if you will, i was just very surprised. It's not just illy that allows for locked layers - every single graphics program i can think of does.

Well there you go then.
Carry on taking the piss. Probably the first bleeding design related question this week, but we wouldn't want this place bogged down with that sort of thing, would we?

Fuck off... I don't use it.

the layer is locked
- BaskerviIle0
is the layer itself locked? (next to the eye icon in the layers palette)

Got an EPS logo, open it in Illustrator and I can't select it/edit it/do anything to it.
What's that all about?
I know you can lock stuff, but it's more than that.
I get a yellow pencil with a red tip and a line through it whenever I hover my cursor over it with any tool...
Confused!
