youtube, there is tons up there..
and that is just assuming you already went through the ones that come with live, and the ones on ableton's website.

Been DJing with it for years - it's a great piece of software. Once you get the hang of synching tracks, it's so easy and lets you do a lot of cool stuff you can't do with turntables. Like Meeklo said, look on You Tube, lots of great video tutorials.

ive been using ableton for about a year now for making tunes on but never tried djing with it.
they guys are right theres a lot of good tutorials there on youtube that people have made and ableton have done themselves - they are also available on the ableton site.
such an amazing little program!

you can you pretty most of the sounds on glitch by using the timestretch funcion on your own audio samples..I'm assuming you havent even heard of reactor or battery..

Meeklo, i thought that plugin looked pretty decent. ive heard of battery and reaktor but never used them. should i have? :P
And no way is Ableton Live the Photoshop of Music Programs
- It's the Flash of Music Programs.Sometimes i actually get confused with the two and go to do Flash keyboard shortcuts/functionality with Ableton then im like AAARGH!

Hey DaveO what kind of music do you spin? I've been meaning to do some more mixes but too much work these days:(
Reaktor and Battery are Native Instruments programs. Reaktor = music studio where you can design your own synths etc. Badass but pretty hardcore learning curve. Battery = drum sampler.

i've found the youtube vids helpful, also any sets on video too always help to watch and get ideas...sometimes they say what they're actually doing.

not sure what you use VSTs for, but if you are into producing, then you might want to check out Battery and Reaktor.

not really, it depends on what do you use it for..
if you only use it to mix tracks, or sample based music, then you might find both pretty useless..

Lets start by saying that photshop and flash are for different things.On the right hands both can do amazng stuff, both of them are just tools.
A wooden hammer vs a titanium hammer with your logo engraved on it will both work if you know how to use it.

reaktor and battery are definitly on my list of things to know...right now i'm finishing a few tracks in ableton almost everything was done in it.
some of my stuff i'll let you know when i finally have the new stuff up...soon
