Rest your hand permenantly on the left of your keyboard?

Its like you've known me all my life

Sit back and tilt your head at the monitor if you are happy with a design?
- Nairn0
Yes, and I have no tolerance for n00bs who take more than half a second to apply the shift/alt/ctrl key for a shortcut/combo.

I put it in my lap, have it on my arm rest (on my chair) or cross my arm.

That's when I'm just using a mouse. When I'm writing something I will obviously have my left and right hand resting near the keyboard.

alt + tab, always at the ready.
- elahon0
Yes, usually with my pinky on the shift key and my thumb on the space.

I tend to move my head in and out if/when i'm happy with a design - y'know, to make sure it works from afar and close up?
The tilting comes in when I've been sat there for too long and am trying to resolve whether a detail works or not.
Writing this has made me realise how simian i am.

thumb petting the apple, the other hand strolls the wacom. Thus, I'm always torn when I need to type something. Haven't seen the mouse lately though..

Sorry, my hand was resting on the left of my keyboard?
- Dancer0
... use the mouse to highlight or hold shift and then the arrow keys?
- Concrete0
Shift and then the arrow keys
- Dancer0
...sit up straight in your seat or slowly slide off you chair being swallowed by your desk?
gawd I'm bored
- Concrete0
Surely we could share some more insightful and interesting traits and habits than desk posture?
Actually I can't think of anything, and it's Friday afternoon.
As you were...

I quite often sit so low in my chair i have to raise my arms to face level just to type.
I doubt it is very good for my back.

Do you have the Num Lock on or off?
