Vista Pooproblems

Anyhow, anyone know about audio issues on Vista? Installed it on my girlfriends' computer - Home Basic - and audio drivers are up to date, but no audio from the browser. Can hear audio when testing the speakers, but not in Youtube, myspace, NT buttons, nothing.
Any ideas?

Yes. Firefox 2, which is shit in it's own right as well. I hate Firefox 2. If you have not upgraded, DON'T.

i'm on Vista + FF2. it's ok here. check if the plugins are up-to-date. flash, shockwave, wmp, etc. looks like a plug-in problem of some kind.

vista has a volume mixer that allows you to adjust the volume per application... you sure you just don't have that specific app turned down?

I restarted, and it's working fine on myspace and NT buttons. I'll have to see when it conks out - if it does. Thanks for the help so far.
