ok, yeah. that site is really awful from just about every possible angle. it's ugly, it's got an egyptian vibe even tho the event is taking place at the venetian, it's not user friendly and it's jam-packed full of pointless logos. it's a glorified club flyer with a late 90s flash animation.
that, and i still have no idea what the retreat really is.

effort, the KDU is a facade. they don't give out details because the reality is too shallow to write about. It's a loose collection of designers that remain on-call. Lots and lots of style, very little substance.
