Never much cared for these guys. I tried, I really did. Especially as a guitarist watching others bow at the 'Eddie' shrine. But couldn;t get into it. My friends would blast 'Jump,' and be like "Fuck yeah!! W00t!" and I would hear that fuzzy keyboard sound and just start crackin up. Oh well.

(Aug 14 07, 08:15)Wait..your friends would say "W00t!" in 1986?? Wow..talk about being ahead of the times...
- harlequino0
Haha, yes. Actually, the great advances in our current technology allow us to express how fervent that "Woot" was. You see, the zeros make it louder. Like an amp that goes to 11.

Wow this is great news. I might have to make a pilgrimage to the US to see a show. Seeing as how I was only 2 when DLR left the band.
Which city would be the best atmosphere? Or rather which is the smallest venue they'll play?
I spent too much of my youth learning EVH licks and solos to miss them this time around. Fuck hagar and that joke gary cherone, this is the real deal. Except why is eddie's son playing bass, what's wrong with michael anthony??

I think they should bow out gracefully instead of looking like fools.
