i couldnt get through Serenity - I thought it was silly how the dialog was written. I have been meaning to give it another chance. I dunno.

Yeah, it may take time to get used to. If you watch the series first it may be easier. Just stick with it.

love this show, hate fox for being so shortsighted :(

Fox ruined the following shows that I loved:
Undeclared
Arrested Development
Family Guy*
Futurama*
Get A Life
Wanda At LargeI am sure there are more, however, my rage is currently barring any other memories as I can only see red now.
* Saved by Cartoon Network.

family guy was brought back (and is also in syndication now) and peter even made fun of fox's stupidity:
one of my fave bits

Do my asterisks mean nothing, haha?!
Undeclared was such a great show, I highly implore anyone who has not seen it to buy the complete series and watch them all back to back you will laugh your ass off.
...
Well not completely, but the amount of laughter involved could be considered a work out based on the stomach muscles you will be working continuously.

Firefly was very good indeed.
Still love Family Guy too, though not as much as Futurama.
What's American Dad like?

no way sputnik likes this show!
I feel so loved now...

Fox has canceled so many shows. It sucks that they get most of the most interesting shows too (besides those on HBO and Showtime).

Great show, I wasn't happy they killed off two main characters in the movie. I thought it could make another comeback. They don't seem to know Star Trek's history.

Joss Whedon is my all-time favourite writer / director. If you guys know about him, he will ALWAYS kill off main characters when you least expect it.
I love that he does this. Sad, but a tad more realistic in the worlds that he creates. Plus, he almost always does it in a well-thought-out way.
