what exactly do you disagree with, moth?
- ********0
That 9/11 was an inside job, and that a missile hit the pentagon.
- mrdobolina0
oh, I can see that. this administration just invites conspiracy theorists by being secretive about absolutely everything. there was a south park episode that made fun of it, saying they do this purposely to make them seem all-powerful.
- material-10
why is it so hard to understand? The neocons practically spelled it out beforehand.
- emecks0
the argument about 11/9 being an inside job or not is actually very convenient for the WAR CRIMINALS.
wake up!! GET THE BASTARD FOR HIS WAR CRIMES.

(Aug 8 07, 04:57)Because it's full of shit, just like any other conspiracy theory that exists for conspiracies' sake, or for some fat dude who doesn't get out much to sell books/dvds/websites/tv shows to the even dumber masses who eat it up.
It is YOU who doesn't understand and no longer perceives WHO is feeding you lies.

Moth, I think materials' point is that the Project for a New American Century, said that in order to begin their basic domination of Syria, Iraq and Iran they would need a "New Pearl Harbor" to stir up the masses in the US. PNAC is made up of Bill Kristol, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz and so on. Basically all of the players in this current administration. So is it really that far-fetched to think that they may have turned a bit of a blind eye to events that happened that day?
While I don't think that a cruise missile slammed into the pentagon, is it really tin-foil hat shit to think what I stated above?

(Aug 8 07, 05:19)No.
But what you said above is pretty fucking far from making it an inside job. It's not even in the same league.I also dispute that "theory".
You give them far too much credit. More likely, your government and security services were far too inept to act on warning lights - if indeed they saw them at all.
More likely still is that your government then took the opportunity to "stir up the masses" in the case for a war.
This really is another discussion though. There's a million miles between this and an "inside job".

(Aug 8 07, 05:35)I've lost count of the number times these guys release statements of intent. That wasn't the first, and it wont be the last.

will somebody arrest the cunt already???

9/11- I think it was incompetence before the fact and blatant manipulation and taking a narrow opportunity opening and driving an aircraft carrier through it (literally and figuratively speaking).
Whether conspiracy theories have any weight or not has zero to do with the actual "high crimes and misdemeanors" committed by this Administration and a giant dishonoring of any oath to "support and defend the Constitution".. I just listened to an interview with Bruce Fein, the guy who wrote the initial impeachment articles against Clinton and a former Reagen Deputy Attorney general and he thinks this administration is criminal. Yet he's been branded a "liberal" by the neo-cons. Unfuckingbelievable. It feels like we've slipped into some sorta twilight zone starting on 9/12...

first of all there is no difference, IMO, if the administration had prior knowledge and didn't act on it, or if they were outright payers in the events. The end result has benefited their goals of a endless war on terrorism(read: new cold war). All these neocons are tightly involved in the profitability of the military/industrial complex and have nothing but contempt for ordinary citizens. cheney, rumy, et all were the authors of the privatization of millitary services(halliburton) back in the 80's and this 'war' is the resulting cash grab of those policy decisions.
Moth, please don't underestimate the greed and evil of these asshats. Do you really believe that only the terrrorist could be bad enough to plan something like 9/11.
I guess if given the chance bush/rove/cheney would prefer to play with puppies but now must defend the world against evildoers for the sake(at the expense) of our freedoms. Be honest with yourself now.

(Aug 8 07, 06:22)There's obviously no point reasoning with someone like you. Whatever you say beyond this sentence can only be mute.
It's like saying there's no difference between murder and manslaughter.
