Anyone know a superb credit card that you earn airline miles on?
It would have to be Mastercard or Visa though because I use it a lot.
Even better one that takes transfers from other accounts..
I know there are a lot of world traveling folks on here!?!!!

i just went to France from airline mileage points and AMEX charges all paid for 100% 10 days in South of France and Paris.
although 99% of the points used were from airline travels from nyc to china 6 times a year...we had aded up a lot a lot ...finally they can be used for something, we thought we would never use em.

american express is very nice, and their concierge service in changing and makign transport is exceptional.
a nice thing to do is to pick a carrier that is major from where you are, and where you go most often. if it is major city to major city, no bother- just pick the one you like most..... they all suck pretty much equally in the U.S.

Besides AMEX, there are few other cards that have this incentive but most of them just give you miles for a specific airline like United or American Airlines. The bad thing is, AA or United are usually a bit more expensive than the rest.I think Capital One gives you miles that could be used in any airline...

I am not a baller. And I need to use this all the time all over the place.. not everywhere takes Amex.

Lloyds TSB are dropping their VISA cards in favour for American Express and Mastercard Airmiles Duo cards which will get you airmiles on all purchases.
