Where to go in Madrid

I'm going to Madrid next week and I'd like to know some good place to visit (shops, museums, exhibitions, etc...).
Anyone knows?

Was there a few years ago, stayed just off Gran Via (the main street).
Try this place, it was the cheapest best restaurant ever. Like €8.50 for a steak. and a really lovely restaurant.

Yes, I'm the same person but these are two different things.

Well, I dont agree with a magazine purely about shopping, BUT, that restaurant I gave the link for is excellent, really good food and a lovely setting and really popular and very cheap, so I highly recommend it!
Also, definitely go to see Guernica, you will not be disappointed.
It's a cool city, so enjoy, ye hoor!

i was meant to be... but she's a sneaky cow, i did the logo and business cards and all that in exchange for clothes... only to find out she only stocks lassies gear.
so i have a girls hoody and a nice summer skirt.
