is there just something about the hot point in summer? everyone so busy, work so anxious, no one having all that much fun anymore? wishing for fall?
is this a general feeling? or just a little black raincloud centered over my vicinity?

cheer up ya grumpy bastart.
the malaise will lift with beer.

surely he meant 'bastartlette', but i agree with the 'cheer up' sentiment just the same.

perhaps I am coining a new phrase: summertime curmudgeon bastardette
I appreciate the ette part. thanks for the chin up. but wouldn't it be nice to quit my job and play for the rest of the summer?

there is no need for "ette" to be added to any of my terms of swearendearment:
bastart, hoooor & cunt
all work perfectly well for all 4 genders.

I feel the same way...and then going home after work and drinking and playing video games just makes me feel more pathetic and depressed.

ordinarily, summers are always the weakest parts of my year. i'm just not a summer person...90+ degree heat etc. it wears me down

Hey Jack, go swimming in the platte by REI and get some ecoli, things will not seem so pathetic after that.

I notice the same thing. It's weird to see the usually hard workers feeling antsy and looking for any excuse to get out of the office.
